How to Burn Video to Blu-ray and DVD

Step 1 Add source videos

Click the "Add Video" button to add files to the program for burning, or directly drag the files to the main interface for further converting. You could add multiple video files or video folders as you like. After loading, ou could play back loaded files, add external subtitles, select subtitles and audio tracks, etc.

Note:After loading, select output disc type at the bottom of the program from DVD-5, DVD-9, BD-25 and BD-50 options according to your real needs. Set the aspect ratio from 16:9 and 4:3. Set bit rate in "Fit to disc" box.

Step 2Set disc menu (optional)

After loading source videos, on the right sidebar, you could select a disc menu template for adding to the output DVD/Blu-ray content. Click the eye-shaped icon in the middle of selected disc menu template to get instant preview. On the disc menu preview panel, you could even choose to edit selected disc menu by clicking the pencil-shaped icon.

Step 3Do more output settings

After setting disc menu, click the big green "Burn" button. A sidebar would pop out, on which you need to set "Burn to", "Disc Label" and "Save to" options according to your real needs.

In "Burn to" box, choose to burn video to ISO File, DVD/Blu-ray Folder, and/or DVD/Blu-ray disc. At least one option should be selected. (Disc option could be selectable only when you've inserted a writable blank disc into the disc drive.)
In "Disc Label" box, you can type in a personalized label to make output Blu-ray/DVD content your own patent.
In "Save to" box, you could set a directory to save output Blu-ray/DVD folder or ISO image file.

Step 4 Begin DVD & Blu-ray burning task

At last, click on the "Burn" button at the bottom of the burning settings panel. Leawo Blu-ray Creator would start to burn video to DVD/Blu-ray movies immediately. On the Burning panel, you could view all burning progresses, and make after-done settings.

How to Burn ISO File to DVD/Blu-ray Disc with Leawo Blu-ray Creator

Step 1 Add source ISO image file

Insert a writable blank DVD/Blu-ray disc into disc recorder drive (to burn ISO image file to Blu-ray disc, you need to get a Blu-ray recorder drive connected with your computer). Click the inverted triangle icon next to the "Add Video" button and then select "Add iso file" option, or directly drag and drop ISO image file into Leawo Blu-ray Creator for ISO image file loading.

Step 2ISO to disc burning settings

On the "Add iso file" window, set "Copy to" and "Disc Label". Make sure you've inserted a blank writable disc into the disc recorder drive, therefore you could selct it under the "Copy to" option.

Step 3Burn ISO file to DVD/Blu-ray disc

Click the "Burn" button on the "Add iso file" window. This ISO image burner wouls start to burn ISO file to DVD/Blu-ray disc immediately.


How to edit videos with video editor?

The internal video editor of Leawo Blu-ray Creator enables you to edit videos before burning to DVD/Blu-ray content. Right click loaded video and then click “Edit” option, or directly click the “Edit” icon in each video title to enter the video editing panel.

In "Trim" section, set the "Start Time" and "End Time" values, or directly set the start point and end point on the play bar to get desired video clips trimmed.

In "Watermark" section, slide “Watermark” option to green, then you can add image or text watermark to the video to make output Blu-ray/DVD movies unique to you. You could even customize the watermark Transparency, Position, Text color, Text font, etc.

In the “Crop” section, firstly select a way in Zoom, then set the Left and Top values, or directly drag the dot frame on the left Original Preview window to remove black margins and unnecessary part. If you like, you could even make use of the rotator on the Crop panel to rotate videos for special angle of view.

Click “Effect” tab and modify the output video Brightness, Contrast, Saturation and Volume to adjust output video effect.

In “Remove Noise" section, you can simply click the “Remove Noise” button to activate this function for better audio enjoyment.

In “Create Chapter" section, you could insert chapters one by one by dragging the slider to the point that you would like to create the chapter and click “Insert chapter”. If you don’t want to set chapters one by one, you could choose “Set chapters” and type the value to input chapter total number, or choose “Set chapter length” to set every chapter with same length. Click Delete or Delete All to delete the chapters. This feature is only available to Blu-ray output.

How to burn 3D Blu-ray/DVD out of general videos?

Featuring a 3D Blu-ray burner, Leawo Blu-ray Creator allows you to create 3D Blu-ray/DVD movies out of 2D video sources. On the video editing panel, open the "3D" tab, and then slide "3D Mode" to green, after that, you could freely select 3D movie effect from Red/Cyan, Red/Green, Red/Blue, Blue/Yellow, Interleaved and Side by Side, and adjust the 3D Depth from -50 to +50. The built-in player provides instant preview of 3D effect.

How to select and design disc menu and template?

On the right sidebar, multiple disc menu templates are available: Standard, Business, Education, Holiday, Nature, Sports, Wedding, Custom. Select the one you like for output Blu-ray/DVD content. You can also click the "No Menu" to turn off the disc menu and template.

Click the eye-shaped icon in the middle of selected disc menu template to get instant preview. On the preview panel, you could preview the main disc menu and scenes respectively.

On the disc menu preview panel, click the pencil-shape "Edit" icon to enter the disc menu editing panel.

On the disc menu editing panel, you could rename titles, adjust the title font and color, adjust title position, load background image or video, add background music, edit the content on chapter list pages, etc.

After editing, you could click the blue "Save Template" button to save edited disc menu template into Custom group. Then, move mouse to the big green "Burn" button to continue the video to Blu-ray/DVD burning progress.

How to Burn Photos to Blu-ray/DVD Photo Slideshow with Leawo Blu-ray Creator

Step 1 Add photos

2 ways to add source photos: click the "Add Photo" button to browse and add photo files to the program for burning, or directly drag and drop photo files. You could also load photo folder. Make sure your photos are in JPEG, JPG, PNG or BMP formats. Loaded photos would be automatically generated into photo slideshow. You could play back the generated photo slideshow as you like.

Note: After loading source photos, select output disc type on the bottom of the program from DVD-5, DVD-9, BD-25 and BD-50 options. Set the aspect ratio from 16:9 and 4:3, and bit rate in "Fit to disc" box. Required space for output DVD/Blu-ray content is displayed at the bottom.

Step 2Set disc menu (optional)

If you want to add a disc menu to the output Blu-ray/DVD photo slideshow, select a disc menu from the right sidebar. To preview selected disc menu, click the middle eye-shape icon of selected disc menu. On the menu preview panel, click the pencil-shape icon to edit selected disc menu.

Step 3Edit photo slideshow

Inside this Blu-ray/DVD photo slideshow burner, you get a photo slideshow editor to edit photo slideshow video and audio. Right click the generated photo slideshow and then select "Edit" option, or directly click the "Edit" icon in generated photo slideshow title to enter the photo slideshow editing panel.

Under the "Video" tab, you could choose to add external photos, adjust photo position, remove existing photos, rotate photos, set photo duration, transition duration and transition effect, etc.

Under the "Audio" tab, you could add background music and set audio effect of photo slideshow, etc. After editing, click the OK button to return to the main interface.

Step 4 Photo slideshow burner settings

Click on the big green "Burn" button. On the popup sidebar, set "Burn to", "Disc Label" and "Save to" options. After these settings, click the bottom "Burn" button to start burning photos to Blu-ray/DVD photo slideshow.

In "Burn to" box, choose to burn photo slideshow to ISO File, DVD/Blu-ray Folder, and/or DVD/Blu-ray disc. This option allows multiple choices. To burn photo to Blu-ray/DVD disc, insert a blank writable Blu-ray/DVD disc into the disc recorder drive. (Disc option could be selectable only when you've inserted a writable blank disc into the disc drive.)
In "Disc Label" box, you can type in a personalized label.
In "Save to" box, set a directory to save output Blu-ray/DVD content.
